Bird Proofing
In some circumstances we may need to employ bird deterrents to keep resilient birds away. These come in the form of electrical devices, spikes, bird slopes, bird wire and post systems. They all work yet they have to be installed by a professional and they must be suited to the pest bird. In a worst-case scenario, Pest birds will need to be eradicated via specified culling programs. This is usually only to remove non-native species; however permits can be acquired if there’s no other possible way to remove the bird if it’s a protected species.

Bird Spiking
Bird spikes are still a very practical yet highly effective way to prevent Birds from roosting on ledges and surfaces. Depending on the accessibility it can prove to be quite challenging to reach specific locations however, when you’re a trained professional at working safely at heights we can integrate the two systems to achieve the results desired. In line with the spikes, we use an industry designed adhesives to match the
product for all applications.

Bird Wire & Post
Bird Wire and Post is an architect’s favourite method. It provides discretion and resistance at the same time. For larger Birds it be annoying to land on a ledge that’s spring loaded and constantly applying pressure to push you off the edge. That’s the aim of this system, however once again it must be installed by trained installer and must be suited towards the right pest species.
